SWEET BEGINNING: Erin and Jonathan met during a nice summer day at Lake Travis. They immediately hit it off because they had so much in common and quickly made plans for their next 10 dates. Jonathan had been working in Los Angeles at the time and ironically enough Erin had already planned a trip to Los Angeles the following week. Erin and her son met up with Jonathan during their trip. The three spent a full day at Disneyland together as Erin and Jonathan’s first date.
A PERFECT PROPOSAL: Jonathan proposed to Erin at the Temple of Love rotunda at Laguna Gloria. He told Erin he wanted to give her his whole heart, read her Proverbs 31, and told her she was everything he had been praying for!
NATURAL BEAUTY: Erin wanted an elegant and natural wedding. Inspired by her own designs, she opted for a neutral palette with a lot of greenery. She wanted the gorgeous nature and scenery of the venue to be highlighted.
SAVORY SWEETS: Sweet Treets Bakery made the bride a classic white four-tiered cake with vanilla buttercream frosting topped with florals. The groom’s cake was a chocolate Disney-themed cake representing the couple’s first date.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Erin cherishes the moments before the reception when Jonathan pulled her aside and said he wanted to spend time with her before they joined everyone else. The newlyweds sat on a bench, drank a glass of wine, prayed and talked about their future. Such a sweet way to spend their first moments as husband and wife.
