Natalie Turner and Michael Conlon’s Gorgeous Austin Wedding Featuring Bouquets of Austin
SWEET BEGINNINGS: Although Natalie and Michael met early in college and were acquaintances for several years, it wasn’t until they ran into each other at church years later that they hit it off. Before they knew it they were spending more and more time together, and the rest is history!
A PERFECT PROPOSAL: After spending a great deal of time together on road trips to visit both their families for the holidays, Michael was certain he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Natalie. On their anniversary, Michael took Natalie on a detour to a park in downtown Austin that has always been special to them and proposed!
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Natalie and Michael’s most memorable moment from the wedding was their first dance. The couple had it secretly choreographed to be part ballroom and part hip hop!
SPECIAL TRADITION: Natalie and Michael both placed letters into a wooden box along with a bottle of wine and locked it. The idea behind the box is to show the newlyweds that marriage is difficult, and if they ever find themselves in a place of duress, they can open the wine and read the letters to remember why they committed to one another. Both hope that never happens and plan to open the box on their 25th anniversary to celebrate their love!
SAVORY SWEETS: The three-tier wedding cake consisted of two top layers painted gold and a bottom layer that was hand-painted.
