Jessica Shorman and Charles Shull’s Rustic Austin Wedding at Pecan Springs Ranch
SWEET BEGINNING: According to Jessica, she and Chuck met at the Oral Roberts University campus coffee shop and according to Chuck, they met in the cafeteria. No one truly knows. Jessica had a huge crush on Chuck and through a roommate date event the two became friends. The chemistry between the two has just continued to grow since.
A PERFECT PROPOSAL: The day began like any other Saturday in New York City. Jessica and Chuck took a stroll through Central Park, rowed around Bethesda Fountain, and then enjoyed a delightful picnic by the boat pond where Chuck then proposed! The two ended their day overlooking the city from the top of the Rockefeller Center with ice cream in hand and a future planned.
THE SETTING: Pecan Springs Ranch gave Jessica and Chuck the perfect mix of urban décor and their country roots. Jessica loved that the venue allowed for an outdoor ceremony and inside reception. Her favorite part about this venue was the large cottage for the bridal party that made getting ready super easy and a lot of fun.
SECRET GARDEN: Jessica and Chuck’s theme encompassed a lot of greenery, soft neutrals, organic flower arrangements, and beautiful lighting. Jessica has a more neutral taste where Chuck likes color. The two decided on using hues of lavender, grey and dusty blue that gave their wedding a watercolor look.
