This ivory and forest green wedding features so many grand elements, but we are so partial to a tented ceremony! Carly and Ryan’s story began when they first met in high school through mutual friends. They were also in a worship band together for two years! When Ryan finally popped the question, Carly says he got down on one knee in the backyard of a family friend’s house, and she was totally caught off guard! Afterward, they celebrated with a huge surprise party he had planned with family, friends and lots of happy tears being shed.

Fast forward, they were married in a whimsical, intimate tented ceremony in this stunning ivory soiree planned and coordinated by Pearl Events Austin! Plentiful greenery and big, bright white blooms from Bouquets of Austin make the mood so romantic and elegant, and we love the overgrown look of this arbor installation. Premiere Events and Whim Hospitality teamed up on the wedding decor front and their great rentals came together to create this luxe reception seating consisting of gold chiavari chairs and regal ivory linens. After a fun-filled evening including a little crowd surfing by both bride and groom, the newlyweds used a sword to cut into their five-tiered cake Sweet Treets Bakery adorned with ribbed buttercream frosting and fresh florals – plus a groom’s cake modeled after a giant Chipotle burrito! There are so many grand elements in this ivory and forest green wedding captured beautifully by Caitlin Rose Photography. Read on to hear a note from the bride about what goes into planning a wedding. Cheers to Carly and Ryan!

From the bride on one thing she learned: “It takes time, patience and a lot of support from friends and family!”
