SWEET BEGINNINGS: Both Lisa and Alexander were out with friends when they first met. In a crowded place, Alexander walked in front of Lisa and she got a whiff of his cologne! He saw her looking his way and decided to introduce himself. His smart composure and dashing good looks intrigued Lisa immediately!
A PERFECT PROPOSAL: Lisa and Alexander went to her family’s ranch in Fredericksburg. After visiting wineries during the day, they returned home with the plan to grill burgers. Alexander asked Lisa to run to the store and buy the food, and she reluctantly agreed. But when she returned, candles lined the walkway and the tables were lit with more candles. Just as she put down the groceries, Alexander got down on one knee and proposed!
HUES SHE USED: Lisa wanted her wedding style to be classic elegance with a mix of nostalgia so she incorporated lots of gold and grays with soft pinks and whites.
SPECIAL TRADITIONS: Since Alexander hails from a full Greek heritage, they wanted to integrate Greek traditions into the reception. Nikko Georges played bouzouki between sets and guests danced in traditional Greek style called Zeibekiko.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: Loot Vintage Rentals created the most amazing chair sculpture placed at the entryway. It was a stunning mixture of silver-, gold- and rose-bronzed chairs stacked into an arch!
