We are in love with this colorful multicultural wedding inspired by native wildflowers of the Texas landscape! Infused with the bride and groom’s North and South Indian heritages, this gorgeous wedding day blends both sides in the most bright and beautiful way. To start out the festivities, guests enjoyed a traditional Muslim ceremony, where Deeba wore a traditional saree and hand-stitched blouse. After, the couple changed into white to honor their American upbringing, and headed to their second ceremony and reception. Brilliant blooms in fuchsia, peach and red from Remi + Gold brightened up the room, along with gold candles and rose decor styled by the lovely Premiere Events. After dancing the night away, guests headed to the JW Marriott Austin and the Fairmont Austin, ending the evening on a perfect note. From the bride: “We had a small Muslim ceremony officiated by a Muslim inam. I wore my wedding saree from South India, with a blouse stitched by my cousin and necklaces from my uncle, designed by my dear departed grandfather. Here we recited Arabic and were married in the eyes of our shared religion. After some pictures, I changed into my white gown in honor of my American upbringing, and we joined all our family and friends outdoors for a vow exchange led by our good friend. He spoke beautifully, and Sameer and I exchanged the vows we had written for one another.”
