Can you believe it’s been FIVE years since Brides of Austin made its debut? Definitely a cause for celebration, so when planning our 5th anniversary mag release, we knew we had to go BIG to commemorate such a special milestone! A stunning location was in order, and The Driskill fit the bill perfectly, serving as the perfect gathering spot for all of our team and incredible vendors, as well as an amazing backdrop for so many beautiful touches provided by our sponsors! Westcott Weddings helped us design the whole space and bring the event together seamlessly, working with Melony Rodwell on some jaw-dropping floral and balloon installations in our signature color: hot pink! Ivelisse Designs made sure guests knew where to go with beautiful signage, and everyone lounged on the most comfortable and stylish furniture provided by Loot Rentals, Party at the Moontower, Premiere Events and Marquee Events. What a power team of rental vendors! ATX sure is in good hands.
Whenever we host a Brunch with the Brides, food and entertainment are high on our list. Plush Party Band turned up the energy to a new level with their high-spirited set, and LeForce Entertainment lit up the space complete with our own branded gobo light! The Driskill worked their magic on the dessert table with gorgeous cakes and desserts. Guests enjoyed creations from Full Spectrum Ice Scultpures, favors from Watercoloratx, cookies from 2Tarts Bakery, live illustrations from Vogue Vignette and a fun photo booth from MirMir Austin! Makeup ATX made sure our team looked their very best with their picture perfect makeup, and all the magic of the day was captured gorgeously by Caitlin Rose Photography.
The vibes throughout the whole event felt as energetic and bright as the hot pink balloons covering the space. What a day we had celebrating milestones in the company of such talented, kind industry professionals. We feel so fortunate so to have served this wonderful Austin bridal community for five whole years, and we’re looking forward with excitement to the next five!
