Today we are recapping our favorite Austin wedding decor trends seen throughout the pages of Brides of Austin! This year has been full of creative, colorful and vintage decor centered around a community feel of celebration. Check out the decorative trends we loved this year and hope to see carried into 2016!

Chair Treatments

Use an unexpected decorative element to adorn your chairs and complement your florals! We loved these hand-dyed fabrics, ribbons and wood carvings.

Vintage Lounges

Bringing character and charm to your celebration can be done by simply adding a vintage lounge (or several!) throughout the scene!

Say It On a Sign!

Calligraphy was huge this year, and we couldn’t be happier about it! Whether it’s a decorative sign, a menu or a place card, adding calligraphy details to your wedding adds class and charm instantly!

Communal Tables

2015 saw many long reception tables centered around a feeling of community. Instead of only talking to the person seated beside you, you’re able to closely engage with everyone around you in a more intimate setting. We love this idea of fostering community with the ones you love most!
